Hazmat Driver

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused CDL Class A Hazmat Driver to join our transportation team. This position is responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous materials while maintaining strict adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and Hazmat safety regulations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards while representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport hazardous materials to designated locations
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and Hazmat compliance regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate driver logs and shipping documentation
• Ensure proper placarding and labeling of hazardous cargo
• Follow company safety policies and emergency procedures
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and delivery schedules
• Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance standards
• Report delays, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
• Follow all company and federal safety procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A License
• Hazmat (H) Endorsement required
• Minimum 5 years CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) preferred
• Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
• Professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement (preferred but not required)
• Previous hazardous materials transport experience
• TWIC card (preferred)
• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
